How College Women Can Protect Themselves Against Attackers Lurking In The Dark

I left the library before Shelley but for some reason I handed her my Pepper Pen before going out. I just had this nagging feeling she might need it a lot more than I might. I was leaving ahead, and along with Maggie. Shelley would have to stroll back towards the dorm, and it would most likely be dark the minute she headed for home.

It was actually my father who had insisted I lug some self-defense spray when I went away to college. He said this is non-lethal, and meant purely for defensive purposes. That would immobilize an assailant almost immediately soon after your spraying, but the effects are temporary and there is no irreversible damage afterward.

He was actually shouting in pain while scrubbing his eyes and face. This would be because of the stemming burning sensation. He then went into uncontrollable coughing fits which lasted for a number of minutes.

Clearly, that is the chance a user is anticipating so he or she can take off and also report the incident, ideally, to have the assaulter apprehended.

Since this type is easy to hide, I can use it to my advantage. It is why my dad wants me to have a small pepper spray because it really suits me. Plus, this is easier to handle, what with my small palms that would most likely shake the moment I would need to discharge the defense spray.

I could have it in my pocket, and it would still be conveniently accessible in case I needed this. The fact this is a disguised pepper spray, one which resembles a pen, would allow me to hold it inside my hand without raising suspicion I was really carrying a weapon.

Father's Pepper Shot self-defense spray makes use of extremely fine grains that penetrate the skin a lot faster upon contact, increasing its heat intensity. And that was precisely what happened to Shelley's assailant when he got hit from around 6 feet soon after my good friend succeeded to push him away.

I am delighted my Pepper Pen saved Shelley, though she is still a little traumatized by the incident.
