People in the world have different manners that guide them in their day-to-day activities. We will look at their behaviors from how they greet people to how they eat when others are around. The psychology of humans is placed in a way that people do not intentionally wake up and just become rude to other persons. Even so, anxiety and haste makes us not to consider basic manners and etiquette that can land us into great problems. At times, we tend to ignore being kind to strangers since we are not familiar with them, or they do not know us.

It is imperative to comprehend what good manners means, but at the same time one ought to apply them without being forced daily. Courtesy is a great virtue that sometimes can help us avert embarrassing moments.

To start with in this generation courtesy is changing because of the technological advancement that the world is experiencing in every sector. Sociocultural factors that use to affect how people relate are slowly eroding away, and people are adopting new ways of relating with their colleagues depending on the information they get on the internet.

Even so, we should take our stands and continue to adopt sound principles like respect, consideration, kindness, and honesty. There are values that that each and every generation must get to aware of and passed from parents to children.

Teaching by example is always the key for great lessons that remain rooted in a person for many years. The children should see their parents practicing these virtues so that they can adopt them as a way of life as they grow up. As a result, they will use the mannerisms every day even without thinking. Courtesy begins with how you greet other people whether you know them or you don't.

Making polite requests and showing gratitude always is also a good mannerism that should be adopted. Expressing Gratitude even on the smallest things can go a long way in establishing healthy relationships between different individuals in the society. How we act and make choices will always affect other people, and so we must decide to be understanding towards other persons.

Etiquette and good manners are characters that we must not overlook. Ignoring their importance may lead to damaging a reputation that may have been built for ages. Additionally, when you walk into a room with people, respect them and their presence. They look like very simple issues but can have adverse effects on your image. Dressing is another contentious issue that also matters. Some people may feel offended by your style of dressing depending on their beliefs and customs. So, always dress appropriately in a manner that will not affect other people.

Lastly, if your friend invites you to their place, ensure you do not lengthen your visit to avoid being a burden to them. Some may not tell you exactly how they feel and so it is your responsibility to do the right thing. Moreover, some of these mannerisms do not need learning and being taught, just a use of your souls and mind can also lead you to do what the society require of you.
