Fire fighter training is a vigorous and thorough procedure undertaken by anyone who would want to become a fire fighter in future. The profession is open to any one who is willing to devote their lives to rescuing and extinguishing of infernos that may harm people in the society. It is a true devotion by a few individuals in our communities to serve people in times of disasters and calamities. An individual who chooses to embark on this education endeavour must be very focused and determined in life.



Before indulging in many discussions, one can not fail to mention the magnificent phenomenon which is fire. It was discovered in the early stone ages. Many people have termed it as the most significant and valuable invention by man to date. It has taken up many forms since its discovery. Over the years, many scientist and other experts have found various diverse ways of manipulating its potential.

This natural phenomenon has many advantages. It basically is part and parcel of the daily living of each and every human being on the planet. No one can claim never to have used it at one point or the other in their lives. It is useful in many domestic, industrial and commercial purposes. If one was to list down all the uses and applications of this feature, the list would be practically endless, infinite and unlimited.

When used wrongly or misappropriated in some way, this natural phenomenon shows its true colors. It is feared by many because of its huge potential to cause calamity. It has many dangers associated to it. For instance is when a petroleum tanker or a gas cylinder catches a flame and blows up in an urban area leading to destruction and even death of innocent victims.

When it is not tamed and it embarks on a path of destruction, diverse methods of extinguishing it are employed. It is common sense to extinguish an inferno because if that does not happen, the blaze will eat up everything and everyone on its path. The most natural way to extinguish an inferno is use to use greatest enemy of fire which is water. Lots of water comes in handy in such a situation. Water kills the flames and stops the destruction.

Other methods such as gaseous extinguishers are used in the case of special circumstance where water would cause more harm than good. Gaseous extinguishers are employed when the cause of an inferno is linked to an electrical fault. Water and electricity evidently do not mix and if they did, huge implications are witnessed.

Even if many people may be involved in extinguishing a blaze, the team of professional and trained experts are the appropriate persons to handle the situation. There are many dangers that civilians and onlookers may be exposed to on the scene of such an accident. The best action one should take is to keep a safe distance and leave the professionals to fight the inferno.

Sometimes accidents do happen and the people involved in the fire fighter training may get injured or exposed to many dangers. It is important for all those personnel in the subject field to be expertly and thoroughly trained to prevent these calamities from occurring.
