Basic Spanish Lesson Plans For Students

By Claudine Hodges

When one wants to teach a Spanish language class, he has to make sure that he goes into class prepared. Now the only way to be able to prepare for a class would be to of course make a lesson plan first. So if one is a first timer in this kind of thing, then here is a guide on how to make some very basic spanish lesson plans for students.

Now this guide will help first time instructors know how to make a basic lesson plan. Now the first thing on the list would first be an introduction to the Spanish language which would give students an overview of the language. One would learn more about the alphabet and how it is used in this kind of language.

Now the next thing that the teacher will have to be teaching would be the breaking down of the letters and forming certain words. Before learning new words, the teacher would first have to teach the students about how to pronounce the syllables properly. Unlike in English, students will be pronouncing syllables a little bit differently for this language.

The next thing on the list of things to teach would be of course some basic words. Of course from there the teacher will be teaching the students some basic words so that the vocabulary of the students will improve. Of course the teacher will also come up with some activities to help them do this.

The next thing to do would be to learn about the basic parts of making a sentence. Of course the very first thing that one would have to learn about would be nouns because these are the parts of a sentence that are used very often. While the teacher is teaching about nouns, he can also add pronouns into this kind of lesson because nouns and pronouns can be used simultaneously.

Now after one has learned about nouns and pronouns, the next thing that one has to learn about would be adjectives. Once he has learned about the adjectives, then he will be learning more on verbs and adverbs. Once he has learned all the basic parts of a sentence, then he can put them all together to form a proper sentence.

Of course he will also be teaching the students all the basic grammar rules and also learn how to put more than one sentence together in order to form a paragraph or two. Now the teacher will also be coming up with some activities that would help the students be able to converse in basic spanish. The only way for a student to be able to learn how to speak a language would be to keep on practicing until he gets better.

So these are the most basic things that a teacher can put in his lesson plan. The main objective of a language class would be to help the students be able to speak the language and also write. Of course a teacher needs to come prepared when he goes to class.
